What to check before buying a used fluoroscopy system

Ask for tube exposure history and fluoro minutes, whether the image chain is a flat panel or an image intensifier and its condition, generator power, table weight rating and tilt condition, software version and OEM support status, and the service history. Fluoroscopy rooms are heavy and the table mechanics take years of load, so a mechanical inspection matters as much as the imaging test. Do you stock refurbished fluoroscopy rooms?

Fluoroscopy systems are sourced for each buyer. Tell us the procedures, the room dimensions and the budget and we will quote what is available.

Flat panel or image intensifier?

Flat panel gives a larger distortion-free field, lower dose and easier service. A tested image intensifier room remains a sound buy for lower-volume GI work. We quote both when the procedures allow.

Can you upgrade our existing room to digital fluoroscopy instead?

Often yes. A digital detector retrofit on a sound mechanical room is frequently the better value, and we quote it against a replacement room.

Do refurbished fluoroscopy systems come with a warranty?

Yes. MO Select systems ship with a written parts and labor warranty with the term stated in the quote.
