Refurbished CT Scanners for Sale
Refurbished and used CT scanners from Medical Outfitters: Siemens SOMATOM and GE LightSpeed, BrightSpeed and Optima systems rebuilt through MO Select with documented tube history, delivered and installed by our own crews across the United States, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. The scanners listed above are available now; other slice counts and models are sourced on request. For budgets by slice count, read our CT scanner cost guide.
What MO Select refurbished means
MO Select is the in-house refurbishment program at Medical Outfitters. A system carrying the badge was inspected and tested by our own engineers in Miami before it was listed, worn parts were addressed, image quality was verified against specification, and it ships with a written warranty. The same crews that refurbished it deliver, install, calibrate and service it afterwards, backed by over 20,000 parts in stock. Read the full standard on our refurbished medical imaging equipment page.
Refurbished CT models we stock and source
The MO Select CT line covers the 16 to 64 slice platforms most outpatient centers and hospitals run: the Siemens SOMATOM Scope and the GE LightSpeed, BrightSpeed and Optima CT660 families. Each has a listing with specifications and a quote form, and each family has a buying guide: Siemens CT scanner price guide, GE LightSpeed, GE BrightSpeed and GE Optima CT660. Canon and Toshiba Aquilion systems are sourced on request; see the Aquilion CT price guide.
Refurbished CT scanners sourced on request
Not every refurbished CT scanner we can supply is listed on this page. Pre-owned inventory moves quickly, and much of it is sourced for a specific buyer: we locate a system that matches the model, configuration and budget you give us, inspect it, refurbish it under MO Select where it qualifies, and install it. If you do not see the model you want below, send us the specification and we will quote what is available. We also take trade-ins and buy outright; see sell or trade in used imaging equipment.
What to check before buying a used CT scanner
Tube history decides most of the value of a used CT: ask for scan seconds and mAs in numbers, not "low use", and whether the tube was replaced and when. Then detector condition, software version and OEM support status, the service history and the cooling and power requirements of the room it is going into. Our used CT scanner buying guide and CT tube life article cover the questions in order.
Refurbished CT FAQ
Is a 16 slice refurbished CT scanner enough?
For routine head, chest, abdomen and extremity work in an outpatient setting, 16 slices is enough and keeps the budget down. Cardiac, trauma and high-throughput sites should look at 64 slices. We match the slice count to your referral mix.
How much tube life is left on a refurbished CT?
It varies by unit, which is why we document scan seconds and mAs on every system and quote a tube replacement price alongside the scanner when the history calls for it.
Do refurbished CT scanners come with a warranty?
Yes. MO Select CT systems ship with a written parts and labor warranty, with the term stated in the quote.
Can you remove our old CT when the refurbished one arrives?
Yes. De-installation, rigging out and trade-in or outright purchase of the old system are quoted together with the new installation.
Tell us the CT scanner you have in mind, the room it is going into and your timeline, and we will come back with what we have or can source, with delivery and installation included.
