On a recent Philips Intera Achieva 1.5T removal the job covered inspection of the system, disconnection, the cabling job, ramping down, packaging, rigging, and loading into containers.

MRI Relocation: Moving a System to a New Site
A relocation is a de-installation and an installation joined at the middle, and the risk sits in the join. Two crews who have never spoken to each other is where systems arrive with parts missing and nobody accountable.
We handle both ends, plus the freight and logistics between them. That covers site preparation and reinstallation at the destination, not just getting the magnet out of the old room.
If you are moving a system because you are replacing it rather than relocating it, the other option is to sell it. We also buy used imaging equipment and remove it ourselves, which for a lot of facilities is the simpler transaction.

Can you deinstall and move equipment other than MRI?
Yes. CT, PET/CT, C-arm, mammography, X-ray, ultrasound and DEXA systems as well. MRI gets the most attention because the magnet and its cryogens add steps, but the same crews handle the full range.
