What to check before buying a used ultrasound machine

The probes carry most of the value and most of the risk. Ask for an electronic probe test report for every transducer, the system software version and installed options, the age of the monitor and hard drive, and whether the cart has been dropped or stored in a hot environment. Yes. Every transducer on a used system we sell is electronically tested and the report is included with the quote.

Should I buy a used premium system or a new mid-range one?

If the exams need the image quality and tools of a premium platform, a tested used premium system is often the better buy. If you need a long warranty and the latest software, new Fujifilm systems are available as an authorized dealer. We quote both when it is a close call.

Do you service used ultrasound machines after the sale?
