Published 2 November 2026. The class figures on this page are estimates from public list-price reporting for 2025 and 2026, printed for comparison only and rounded to the nearest $5,000; they are not Medical Outfitters offers. The Fujifilm Persona RF PREMIUM+, the Fujifilm FDR Beyond and the Apelem Platinum Neo are quoted individually for every site, and the mobile C-arm bands are those of our C-arm machine cost guide. Specifications are the manufacturers’ published figures as recorded on the Medical Outfitters product pages. Written by the Medical Outfitters sales and field engineering team.

Quick answer: A fluoroscopy room costs an estimated $110,000 to $350,000 refurbished and $350,000 to $800,000 new for a radiography and fluoroscopy (R/F) system, comparison only, before the room’s shielding and construction; Medical Outfitters sells the Fujifilm Persona RF PREMIUM+, the Fujifilm FDR Beyond and the Apelem Platinum Neo remote-controlled table new, quoted on request, and a mobile C-arm for contrast studies runs $55,000 to $135,000 refurbished and $165,000 to $295,000 new, delivered, installed and warrantied.

A fluoroscopy room costs an estimated $110,000 to $185,000 refurbished for an image-intensifier R/F room, $185,000 to $300,000 refurbished for a dynamic flat-panel room and $225,000 to $350,000 refurbished for a remote-controlled digital table, and an estimated $350,000 to $800,000 new, comparison only. Those are estimates from public list-price reporting, rounded to the nearest $5,000 so a buyer can place a quote; they are not Medical Outfitters offers. What Medical Outfitters sells is quoted individually: the Fujifilm Persona RF PREMIUM+ multi-use R/F table, the Fujifilm FDR Beyond digital radiography room with fluoroscopy and the Apelem Platinum Neo remote-controlled table, each sold new as an authorized dealer and quoted on request for the room, the detector set and the options a site needs, with GE, Siemens, Philips, Shimadzu and Canon fluoroscopy rooms sourced refurbished on request, delivered, installed and warrantied. A mobile C-arm, the other way to buy fluoroscopy, is priced on our C-arm machine cost guide.

Fluoroscopy is live X-ray: the tube runs continuously or in pulses and the image appears on a monitor as it happens. An R/F room is the fixed installation that does it, a tilting table with a dynamic detector built into a shielded room, and it takes the department’s general radiography too. This guide covers what a fluoroscopy room costs by class, type, model and generation, what moves the price, what a quote includes, the room, the running cost, new against refurbished, a real installation in Puerto Rico, and how to choose.

How Much Does a Fluoroscopy Room Cost?

Fluoroscopy room cost is set by the detector generation first, the way the table is operated second and the condition third. An image-intensifier room, a dynamic flat-panel room, a remote-controlled digital table and a digital radiography room that also runs pulsed fluoroscopy are four different purchases, and a mobile C-arm is the fifth way to buy fluoroscopy and the only one that needs no room of its own. The figures below are estimates from public list-price reporting, printed for comparison, with what Medical Outfitters sells or supplies in each class beside them.

Fluoroscopy room cost in 2026 by class: estimates from public list-price reporting, comparison only, rounded to the nearest $5,000; the mobile C-arm row is the published band of the C-arm machine cost guide. Shielding, the control booth, electrical work and the physicist survey are quoted per project on top of every row.

The same question arrives as fluoroscopy room cost, fluoroscopy machine cost, fluoroscopy machine price, fluoroscopy equipment cost, fluoroscopy system cost, R/F room cost, RF room price, radiography fluoroscopy system price, remote controlled fluoroscopy table cost, digital fluoroscopy machine price, fluoroscopy table cost and fluoroscopy unit price, and the table answers all of them. Searches for a used fluoroscopy machine or refurbished fluoroscopy equipment land on the refurbished column; the systems Medical Outfitters holds are in the fluoroscopy machines category. A figure quoted without the detector generation and the table type is not a usable number, and one quoted without delivery, installation, calibration and a warranty is an equipment-only price, which the quote section converts.

How to read the estimates

Our X-ray machine cost guide prices every digital radiography room in Medical Outfitters bands, $60,000 to $135,000 refurbished and $150,000 to $275,000 new, and prints the R/F rooms as quoted per project. This page adds the comparison figures a buyer needs to place a fluoroscopy quote, from public reporting for 2025 and 2026, divided by generation and configuration. The rule that carries across every row is the X-ray guide’s: a radiography and fluoroscopy room sits above a DR room of the same tier, because the dynamic detector, the tilting table and the fluoroscopy generator are the expensive parts.

Types

Fluoroscopy Machine Price by Type: R/F Room, Remote-Controlled Table, DR With Fluoroscopy and Mobile C-Arm

Four machines answer the search for a fluoroscopy machine, and they are not four points on one scale. The first three are fixed rooms, priced here as estimates; the fourth is the mobile C-arm, priced in Medical Outfitters bands on the C-arm guide.

Fluoroscopy machine price by type in 2026: fixed-room figures are estimates from public reporting, comparison only; the mobile C-arm figures are the C-arm guide’s published bands, delivered, installed and warrantied.

The conventional room is the one most departments picture: the team works at the table, and the same room does chest, spine and extremity radiography between fluoroscopy cases. The remote-controlled table moves the operator into the control room and automates the positioning, which is why high-volume GI and urology departments and pediatric hospitals pay the premium. The mobile C-arm is the answer when the fluoroscopy is procedural; our C-arm guide’s fluoroscopy section and C-arm vs fluoroscopy explain that choice, and a cardiac or vascular lab is a different purchase, covered in what a cath lab is and the Siemens Artis zee price guide.

Fluoroscopy Machine Price List by Model (2026): Persona RF, FDR Beyond, Platinum Neo and the Used Market

The fluoroscopy machine price list below places the systems we sell new and the platforms seen on the used market inside the classes above. The three Medical Outfitters R/F units are quoted on request; the Persona C and Persona CS carry the bands our C-arm guide publishes. Every other row is a used-market platform with an estimate for comparison, sourced refurbished on request, tested to specification, delivered, installed and warrantied; the new figures for those makes are estimated list prices and not a Medical Outfitters offer.

Fluoroscopy machine price by model, 2026: Medical Outfitters units quoted on request, mobile fluoroscopy at the C-arm guide’s published bands, and estimates for comparison on the used-market platforms.

Three notes on the rows. A Fujifilm Persona RF PREMIUM+ price is quoted per room because the configuration decides it: the 17 x 17 inch IGZO dynamic detector, the 80 kW generator and the tilting table are standard, and the overhead tube crane, the wall stand, the FDR D-EVO III wireless detectors and the stitching, DSA and tomography options are chosen per site; pre-owned units are rare, because the platform launched in 2021. The FDR Beyond sits in the hybrid class because it is a digital radiography room first, with pulsed fluoroscopy on the FDR D-EVO III detector. On the used market the GE Precision 500D is the room most buyers meet, an image-intensifier system that prices at the bottom of the fluoroscopy classes whatever its hours, because the intensifier and the software level, not the year, set its value; we source it, and the Siemens, Philips, Shimadzu and Canon flat-panel rooms, refurbished on request.

Generations

Fluoroscopy Room Price by Generation and Year: Image Intensifier vs Dynamic Flat Panel

Three generations divide the used fluoroscopy market, and the price follows them more closely than it follows the badge.

Used fluoroscopy machine: what sets the price inside the band

On a used fluoroscopy machine the detector generation matters more than the year on the data plate. An image intensifier ages visibly, with a dimmer and noisier image over the years, and the choice between a replacement intensifier and a flat-panel room is worth a conversation before the next repair, the rule our X-ray service page applies to C-arms and fluoroscopy rooms alike. What we check before any used fluoroscopy machine is priced:

  • Detector or image intensifier. On a flat-panel room the calibration history and the last flat-field and resolution results; on an image-intensifier room the brightness, noise, vignetting and burn-in, because an aging intensifier gives a dimmer, noisier image and its replacement is a major repair
  • Tube and generator. Exposure count and the date of the last tube change; generator output tested to specification at fluoroscopy and radiography settings
  • Table and tilt mechanism. Tilt through its full range, table top travel, the lowest height, the patient weight rating and the motors and brakes; on a remote-controlled table every motorized movement from the control room
  • Dose features. Pulsed fluoroscopy, last-image-hold, collimation, dose display and the fluoroscopy timer, all working and documented
  • Software and licenses. Stitching, DSA, roadmap and tomography licenses enabled on that serial number, whether the manufacturer will transfer them, and whether the software level is still supported
  • Records. QC logs, physics surveys, service history and the state registration of the room it came from

Those six lines are the difference between a used fluoroscopy room that passes its physicist’s acceptance survey on the first visit and one that needs a detector before it sees a patient. The used imaging equipment inspection checklist covers the survey for every modality, and the used X-ray section of the X-ray guide sets the same checks beside the DR rooms.

Price Drivers

What Moves a Fluoroscopy Machine Price

Seven things decide where a fluoroscopy quote lands inside its class, and the brand is not one of them.

  • Detector. A dynamic flat panel replaces the image intensifier with a rectangular image, no edge distortion and a lower dose; its size, frame rate and age are the first line of any R/F quote and the largest step between the two refurbished bands
  • Generator. 65 kW serves most rooms and 80 kW the heaviest patients and the shortest exposures; the Persona RF PREMIUM+ carries 80 kW as standard, the Siemens and Philips rooms 65 kW with 80 kW optional
  • Table and tilt. A plus or minus 90 degree tilt makes swallow studies and upright GI work possible; the patient weight rating, the lowest table height and the longitudinal coverage move a quote inside its band
  • Operation. A remote-controlled table driven from the control room costs more than a patient-side table and buys throughput, operator distance from the beam and automated positioning
  • Options and software. Stitching for long-length studies, DSA with roadmap, tomography, urology isocentric rotation and an overhead tube crane are each quoted as lines
  • Second detector and wall stand. A wireless panel for the wall stand and stretcher work (the FDR D-EVO III on the Fujifilm rooms, SkyPlate on the Philips) turns the fluoroscopy room into the department's second radiography room
  • Condition and support status. On a used system the detector's calibration history, the tube's exposure count, the table motors and tilt mechanism, and whether the manufacturer still supports the software set the price inside the band

Brand moves a fluoroscopy quote less than the detector and the table do: the Fujifilm, Siemens, Philips, Shimadzu and Canon flat-panel rooms all carry a 43 x 43 cm or 17 x 17 inch dynamic detector and a 65 to 80 kW generator. Our X-ray guide’s component table walks through the generator, the tube and stand, the table and the detector for a radiography room; a fluoroscopy room adds the dynamic detector and the tilt mechanism to the same list.

Quote Scope

What a Medical Outfitters Fluoroscopy Room Quote Includes

A Medical Outfitters fluoroscopy room quote is an all-in figure for a system delivered, installed, calibrated and warrantied, with applications training. The Fujifilm Persona RF PREMIUM+ and FDR Beyond and the Apelem Platinum Neo are sold new as an authorized dealer, each quoted on request for the configuration a site needs. GE, Siemens, Philips, Shimadzu and Canon fluoroscopy rooms are supplied a different way: sourced refurbished on request, which means we find a specific room for the configuration a buyer names, test it to specification, and quote it to the same delivered, installed and warrantied standard. What is inside the figure, line by line:

LineWhat a Medical Outfitters fluoroscopy quote includes
The systemTable, tube and stand, generator, dynamic detector, console and acquisition workstation, with the options (stitching, DSA, tomography, second detector, overhead tube crane, wall stand) listed by name
Delivery, rigging and installationFreight, rigging into the room, mechanical and electrical installation, alignment, calibration and acceptance testing by Medical Outfitters crews across the United States, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean
Site surveyFloor loading for the table and tube stand, ceiling and rail geometry, power for the generator and the shielding review, against the manufacturer's site requirements, before the system ships
Applications trainingOn-site training for technologists on the console, the table and the fluoroscopy modes before the first patient
WarrantyTerm, and whether the detector and the tube are covered, stated in writing
Quoted separatelyLead shielding designed to NCRP Report 147, the control booth and leaded window, the electrical feed, the physicist's acceptance survey and the state registration; PACS, reading workstation and monitors; room construction

The gap between a published fluoroscopy figure and a working room is usually scope rather than the machine: public figures for used rooms are mostly equipment-only, before freight, rigging, installation, calibration and a warranty, and a new-system figure from a manufacturer is the equipment before the room. A Medical Outfitters quote states each line, and our delivery and logistics and installation, rigging and de-installation crews do the work. If you are replacing a room rather than adding one, we buy used imaging equipment.

R/F Room vs C-Arm: Which Fluoroscopy Machine Do You Need?

The practical question behind most fluoroscopy searches is which machine a service line needs. The C-arm figures below are our C-arm guide’s published bands; the room figures are the estimates above.

Cost, newEstimated at $350,000 to $800,000, comparison only; the Fujifilm and Apelem systems quoted on request$165,000 to $295,000; the Persona C and Persona CS sold new by Medical Outfitters
Budget beyond the machineRoom construction, shielding, the physicist and a service contractA service contract; renting is an option while a program starts

Buy the room when the fluoroscopy is diagnostic and scheduled, with general radiography between cases; buy the C-arm when the fluoroscopy is procedural, with the patient on a surgical table and the surgeon or the pain physician needing a live image for the length of the case. A surgery center or a pain practice that only occasionally needs fluoroscopy is usually better served by a mobile C-arm beside a DR room than by an R/F room; the Fujifilm Persona C and the compact Persona CS, sold new by Medical Outfitters, are the mobile fluoroscopy systems we quote for that work, and the C-arm rental page covers a unit for a program that is starting. C-arm vs fluoroscopy walks through the terms and what a C-arm is covers the machine itself.

Siting

What a Fluoroscopy Room Needs: Shielding, Power, Floor and Installation

A fluoroscopy room is a construction project as well as a purchase, which is the largest practical difference from a mobile C-arm. Structural shielding is designed by a qualified expert to NCRP Report 147, the reference states adopt for medical X-ray facilities; the control booth needs a leaded viewing window with a clear view of the patient, and the room is registered with the state radiation control program before it is used. Power is three-phase for a 65 to 80 kW generator. The floor carries the table and the tube stand, and the ceiling carries rails if an overhead tube crane is part of the configuration; as one example of what a site survey checks, the Siemens Luminos Agile Max product page lists a minimum room height of 250 cm and a system weight of approximately 2,060 kg. The footprint can be smaller than most buyers expect: the Persona RF PREMIUM+ integrates its generator and workstation cabinets into the back of the table, needs no separate chest stand, and fits rooms as small as 180 square feet, per its product page.

An R/F installation follows one sequence: a site survey against the manufacturer’s site requirements, shipping, the table, tube stand and wall stand going in, assembly and alignment, then commissioning, acceptance testing and the technologists’ training before the first patient. Once the room is ready, the installation itself is measured in weeks, not months; the survey sets the real schedule. Our post on what size room an X-ray machine needs works through footprint, ceiling height, shielding and power system by system, and the X-ray guide’s room, shielding, power and installation section covers the same lines for a radiography room.

Running Cost

What It Costs to Run a Fluoroscopy Room

Running cost follows the tube, the detector and the table: a fluoroscopy tube works harder than a radiography tube, the dynamic detector or image intensifier is the component that ends a system’s economic life, and the tilt mechanism and the table drives are moving parts a radiography room does not have. A service contract on an X-ray system is priced per year as a percentage of the system value, and the percentage moves with what it covers, the platform, its age, the number of systems under the agreement, the response time you need and where the site is; whether the detector and the tube are covered, and up to what value, is the clause that decides whether a contract is complete. As a rule of thumb for comparison only, public reporting puts a full-coverage contract on the common GE and Siemens R/F platforms at an estimated $30,000 to $47,500 a year; Medical Outfitters quotes its own plans per site, not from that figure. Our X-ray service page sets out the plan shapes, the response commitments and what a preventive maintenance visit covers; service is not conditional on having bought the system from us.

LineWhat it coversHow it is priced
Full-coverage servicePreventive maintenance, parts, labor and travel with the detector, the tube and the table mechanics covered; on a fluoroscopy room the image chain, the tilt mechanism, dose management and the fluoroscopy timers join the checklistPriced per year as a percentage of system value; see the X-ray service page
Tube replacementA fluoroscopy tube works harder than a radiography tube because the beam runs for seconds or minutes per studyQuoted per tube; covered under a full-coverage contract
Detector replacementThe dynamic flat panel, or the image intensifier on an older roomQuoted per detector; covered under a full-coverage contract
Medical physicistThe acceptance survey at installation and the periodic surveys and dose checks the state requiresQuoted per survey; Medical Outfitters coordinates the acceptance survey
State registration and operator credentialingRegistration of the room with the state radiation control program; fluoroscopy operators credentialed as the state requiresPer the state fee schedule; staff time
Shielding and the control boothLead as the physicist's plan requires, the leaded viewing window and the boothQuoted per project
PACS, workstation and monitorsDICOM connection, a reading workstation and diagnostic monitorsQuoted per station with the system

Dose is the other running cost, in time rather than dollars. Fluoroscopy can deliver relatively high radiation doses, especially in complex interventional procedures, which is why the FDA’s guidance is that it should always be performed with the lowest acceptable exposure for the shortest time necessary; the operator, not the machine, controls most of the dose, and operator credentialing, the physicist’s dose checks and the QC program are part of owning the room.

Condition

New vs Refurbished Fluoroscopy Equipment

Four conditions exist in the fluoroscopy market, and they are not four points on one scale.

  • New Fujifilm or Apelem. The Persona RF PREMIUM+, the FDR Beyond and the Platinum Neo sold new by Medical Outfitters as an authorized dealer, with the manufacturer warranty, current software, applications training, delivery and installation in the quote. New is the right buy when the room has to carry a department for fifteen years and the configuration has to be built around the site rather than found on the used market.
  • Sourced refurbished on request. A GE, Siemens, Philips, Shimadzu or Canon fluoroscopy room found for the configuration a buyer names, tested to specification, delivered, installed and calibrated by our own crews and covered by a written warranty that states whether the detector and the tube are inside it. The lowest entry into a flat-panel room, with the support horizon of the platform as the question to settle before the price.
  • As-is used. The lowest price. The generator and tube are tested as they stand, the detector or intensifier is sold in its current condition, and the buyer arranges rigging, installation, calibration, the physicist’s survey and service. It suits a site with an engineer on contract; it is the wrong first fluoroscopy room for a new program.
  • Covers and paint. Some sellers repaint the covers, replace the table pad and call the room refurbished; the generator has not been tested, the intensifier has not been assessed and the tilt mechanism has not been exercised. Ask what was done; if the answer is covers and paint, price it as a used system.

A refurbished X-ray system from Medical Outfitters, which means inspected, tested to specification and warrantied, runs 20 to 60 percent below the new price of the same class, the rule our X-ray guide applies to every room and cart. The refurbished imaging equipment page explains what a Medical Outfitters refurbished system includes, refurbished versus OEM certified explains how a dealer rebuild differs from a manufacturer-refurbished unit, and CR vs DR X-ray covers when a digital retrofit of an older room is the better spend.

Centro Cardiovascular de Puerto Rico y del Caribe, the only institution in Puerto Rico dedicated to cardiovascular conditions and the first and only hospital in the country to perform heart transplants, added a new radiography and fluoroscopy room in 2026: a Fujifilm Persona RF PREMIUM+ with a 17 x 17 inch dynamic IGZO detector, a tilting table and an 80 kW generator, in the Centro Medico complex in San Juan. Medical Outfitters sold the system, handled the logistics from Fujifilm’s warehouse in Ohio to San Juan, installed and calibrated it, and supports it with a team based on the island. The full story, in the hospital’s own words, is in our post on the fluoroscopy room installation at Centro Cardiovascular.

Two things in that story bear on a fluoroscopy purchase. The room was bought to close a gap: the hospital’s existing equipment did not cover the functional and swallow studies its surgical patients needed, including bariatric patients, so the detector, the table’s weight rating and the tilt were specification lines rather than features. And the administrator’s committee weighed two things, the images and the service the company offers; on an island the installer and the service engineer need to be the same people, which is why installation, calibration and a service plan are inside every Medical Outfitters quote.

Decision

How to Choose a Fluoroscopy System

Five questions settle which fluoroscopy system to buy.

  • Diagnostic or procedural? Scheduled GI, GU, swallow and contrast studies with general radiography between them: an R/F room. Live imaging during procedures on a surgical table: a mobile C-arm, priced on the C-arm guide. A program that needs both buys the room first and adds the C-arm.
  • Patient-side, remote-controlled or hybrid? The Persona RF PREMIUM+ for most departments; the Apelem Platinum Neo for a high-volume GI, urology or pediatric list run from the control room; the FDR Beyond for a practice that needs a DR room every day and fluoroscopy some days.
  • Which generation, if used? A dynamic flat-panel room when the budget allows, because the detector sets the dose, the image and the support horizon; an image-intensifier room only when budget decides everything and the intensifier has been assessed.
  • What does the room allow? Ceiling structure for an overhead tube crane, floor loading for the table, three-phase power and the shielding a physicist designs to NCRP Report 147; a table-mounted system fits a room an overhead-crane configuration does not.
  • What completes the program? The second detector for the wall stand, PACS and a reading workstation, the physicist’s survey, the state registration, operator credentialing and a service contract with the detector and the tube inside it.

Tell us your exam mix, your daily volume and the room you have, and we will recommend two or three fluoroscopy systems at the right class with delivery, installation and a service plan in the quote. The systems we hold are in the fluoroscopy machines category and on the X-ray machines for sale page, every modality is priced in our radiology equipment cost table, and Florida buyers can see delivery routes on our Florida imaging equipment page.

FAQ

Fluoroscopy Room Cost: Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a fluoroscopy room cost?
An estimated $110,000 to $185,000 refurbished for an image-intensifier R/F room, $185,000 to $300,000 refurbished for a dynamic flat-panel room, $225,000 to $350,000 refurbished for a remote-controlled digital table and $350,000 to $800,000 new, comparison only, from public list-price reporting, with shielding, the control booth, electrical work and the physicist survey quoted per project on top. Medical Outfitters sells the Fujifilm Persona RF PREMIUM+, the FDR Beyond and the Apelem Platinum Neo new, each quoted on request.
How much does a fluoroscopy machine cost?
It depends on the machine. A mobile C-arm costs $45,000 to $85,000 refurbished and $110,000 to $185,000 new for a mini, and $55,000 to $135,000 refurbished and $165,000 to $295,000 new for a full-size unit, delivered, installed and warrantied, per our C-arm machine cost guide. A fixed R/F room is estimated at $110,000 to $350,000 refurbished and $350,000 to $800,000 new, comparison only, before the room; the Fujifilm and Apelem rooms we sell new are quoted on request.
How much does a remote controlled fluoroscopy table cost?
An estimated $225,000 to $350,000 refurbished and $450,000 to $800,000 new, comparison only: the premium fluoroscopy class, because the motorized tilting table, the dynamic flat panel and the automated positioning are driven from the control room. The Apelem Platinum Neo, with motorized plus or minus 90 degree tilt, a table top that lowers to 48 cm and the ADAM software, is sold new by Medical Outfitters and quoted on request.
How much does a used fluoroscopy machine cost?
An estimated $110,000 to $150,000 for a 2000 to 2009 image-intensifier room such as the GE Precision 500D, $185,000 to $250,000 for a 2010 to 2016 dynamic flat-panel room and $250,000 to $350,000 for a 2017 or newer flat-panel or remote-controlled platform, refurbished and installed, comparison only; an as-is unit prices below those figures. A used full-size mobile C-arm runs $55,000 to $135,000 refurbished per the C-arm guide. Medical Outfitters sources GE, Siemens, Philips, Shimadzu and Canon fluoroscopy rooms refurbished on request, delivered, installed and warrantied.
How much does a new digital fluoroscopy machine cost?
An estimated $350,000 to $750,000 for a conventional flat-panel R/F room, $450,000 to $800,000 for a remote-controlled digital table and $250,000 to $500,000 for a digital radiography room with pulsed fluoroscopy, comparison only. Medical Outfitters sells three new digital fluoroscopy systems, the Fujifilm Persona RF PREMIUM+, the Fujifilm FDR Beyond and the Apelem Platinum Neo, each quoted on request, and the Fujifilm Persona CS and Persona C mobile systems at $165,000 to $210,000 and $200,000 to $260,000 new.
What is the Fujifilm Persona RF PREMIUM+ price?
Quoted on request, because the configuration sets it: the 17 x 17 inch IGZO dynamic detector at up to 30 frames per second, the 80 kW generator and the plus or minus 90 degree tilting table are standard, and the overhead tube crane, the wall stand, the FDR D-EVO III wireless detectors and the stitching, DSA and tomography options are chosen per site. Medical Outfitters sells it new as an authorized Fujifilm dealer, and a quote for a specific room comes back within one business day.
Does Medical Outfitters sell fluoroscopy rooms?
Yes: the Fujifilm Persona RF PREMIUM+ multi-use R/F table, the Fujifilm FDR Beyond digital radiography room with fluoroscopy and the Apelem Platinum Neo remote-controlled table, sold new as an authorized dealer, and the Fujifilm Persona C and Persona CS mobile fluoroscopy systems, each delivered, installed and warrantied across the United States, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, with the physicist's acceptance survey coordinated before the first patient. GE, Siemens, Philips, Shimadzu and Canon fluoroscopy rooms are sourced refurbished on request for the configuration you name.
What is the difference between an R/F room and a C-arm?
An R/F room is a fixed installation, a tilting table with a built-in dynamic detector in a shielded room, for barium and swallow studies, GI and GU fluoroscopy, myelograms, line and tube checks and general radiography, estimated at $110,000 to $350,000 refurbished and $350,000 to $800,000 new, comparison only, plus the room. A C-arm is a mobile fluoroscopy unit wheeled into an operating or procedure room for orthopedics, spine, pain injections, urology and vascular access, at $55,000 to $135,000 refurbished and $165,000 to $295,000 new for a full-size unit, with no dedicated room.
What does a fluoroscopy room need in the room?
Lead shielding designed by a qualified expert to NCRP Report 147, a control booth with a leaded viewing window, three-phase power for a 65 to 80 kW generator, a floor that carries the table and tube stand, ceiling structure for rails if an overhead tube crane is specified, state registration before first use and the physicist's acceptance survey. The footprint can be small: the Persona RF PREMIUM+ fits rooms as small as 180 square feet, because its generator and workstation cabinets integrate into the table.
How much does it cost to run a fluoroscopy room?
The recurring line is the service contract, priced per year as a percentage of system value, with the detector, the tube and the table mechanics inside it; add the physicist's periodic surveys and dose checks, state registration, operator credentialing and the QC program. For comparison only, public reporting puts a full-coverage contract on the common GE and Siemens R/F platforms at an estimated $30,000 to $47,500 a year; Medical Outfitters quotes its own plans per site.
Is a refurbished fluoroscopy room worth it?
Usually, provided the detector generation and the support status are right: a refurbished flat-panel R/F room is estimated at roughly half the price of a new one, comparison only, and a refurbished X-ray system from Medical Outfitters runs 20 to 60 percent below new with the same image quality, tested to specification and warrantied. Check the detector's calibration history, the intensifier's brightness and burn-in on an older room, the tube's exposure count, the table's tilt and drives, the dose features, the software licenses and the platform's support status.
Image intensifier or flat panel: which should I buy used?
A dynamic flat panel when the budget allows: a rectangular image with no edge distortion, a wider dynamic range, a lower dose and a longer support horizon, which is why flat-panel rooms hold the top of the used bands at an estimated $185,000 to $350,000. An image-intensifier room such as the GE Precision 500D is the budget entry at an estimated $110,000 to $185,000, comparison only, and a sound buy only when the intensifier has been assessed for brightness, noise and burn-in and the software level is supportable.
Where can I find a fluoroscopy machine for sale?
In the fluoroscopy machines category and on the X-ray machines for sale page: the Fujifilm Persona RF PREMIUM+, the FDR Beyond and the Apelem Platinum Neo sold new, and the Persona C and Persona CS mobile fluoroscopy systems. Tell us the exam mix, the room and the budget, and a quote with delivery, installation and a service plan comes back within one business day.
