Fujifilm Essentia SA Straight Arm DR Overview

Authorized Fujifilm digital radiography supplier. The Fujifilm Essentia SA is a straight arm DR system designed for a wide range of standing, sitting, and recumbent radiographic exams. Its semi-automated, pre-programmed positioning and automated exposure guidance speed up everyday workflow. Therefore, you get up to 60 site-programmable exam shortcuts that keep imaging fast and consistent.

Integrated with the latest Fujifilm DR detectors, the system delivers fast image acquisition and exceptional image quality at low patient dose. In addition, the intuitive 10 inch touchscreen at the tube head puts controls right at the patient side. Because the streamlined design fits the tightest spaces and ceilings as low as 8 feet, it suits clinics with limited room and budget.

Key Features

Fujifilm Essentia SA Features

The Essentia SA focuses on simple operation and dependable image quality. Each feature supports faster positioning and lower dose without adding room or cost.

The intuitive 10 inch rotating touchscreen sits at the tube head, so you operate the system right beside the patient. Quick stand positioning and motorized source-to-image-distance adjustment cover upright chest, abdomen, and oblique exams. With the optional mobile table, you can also perform supine imaging.

Up to 60 semi-automatic presets automate stand height, orientation, and SID. In addition, collimator and movement controls at the Bucky keep the technologist efficient. Multiple emergency stop buttons and collision sensors add integrated safety.

The system integrates with Fujifilm FDR D-EVO III, II, FDR ES, and FDR SE Lite detectors. The standard adjustable tray fits 14×17 inch or 17×17 inch panels and lifts out for free positioning. For smaller anatomy, 10×12 inch or 24×30 cm detectors are available.

All detector models feature Fujifilm’s patented ISS for low dose and low noise. Moreover, the FDR D-EVO III uses a glass-free design that boosts durability while staying lightweight. SpeedLink integration maps APR presets from the exam you select at the workstation.
