No. The LG 32HL512D is not intended for mammography. It is FDA 510(k) Class II cleared for the display of general radiological images for review, analysis, and diagnosis. For dedicated mammography, LG offers 5 megapixel and 12 megapixel displays cleared for breast imaging, and our team can help you choose the right monitor for your needs.

DCI-P3 covers a wider color space than sRGB, which provides more vivid and accurate color reproduction. This is particularly valuable for color-intensive modalities such as 3D volume reconstructions, PET-CT fusion images, and digital pathology slides reviewed within PACS workstations. For grayscale reading, the monitor still meets DICOM Part 14 requirements.

The 32HL512D has an internal backlight sensor that measures and adjusts the LED backlight to maintain the DICOM brightness target over time, and it supports hardware calibration through LG PerfectLum software with an included calibration report. The 32HQ713D adds a built-in front self-calibration sensor for hands-free DICOM recalibration. Both maintain DICOM Part 14 compliance, and the right choice depends on your calibration workflow.

LG Nano IPS uses nanometer-sized particles in the LED backlight that absorb excess light wavelengths, which enhances on-screen colors and grays for high DICOM accuracy and a crisp reading experience. It is what enables the wide DCI-P3 98 percent color gamut on the 32HL512D.

Yes. The two-way pivot allows bi-directional 90 degree rotation to portrait orientation on both sides. Combined with the four-side virtually borderless design, two monitors in portrait create a near-seamless vertical reading array that suits long-image modalities such as DR chest radiography and spine MRI in multimodality PACS workstations.

Yes. The LG 32HL512D is FDA 510(k) Class II cleared for the display of radiological images for review, analysis, and diagnosis, which is a higher clearance level than Class I registration. It also meets IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1-2 requirements for medical electrical devices used in clinical reading rooms.

The 32HL512D is DICOM Part 14 factory calibrated to primary diagnostic guidelines, with a calibration report included. An internal backlight sensor maintains the DICOM brightness target over time, and ongoing hardware calibration and quality assurance are supported through LG PerfectLum software.
