Published 28 October 2026. Prices are Medical Outfitters ranges for a system delivered, installed and warrantied, quoted individually for every site, and they are the Philips rows of our MRI machine cost guide as updated on 19 October 2026 and of the Philips Ingenia model guide. Specifications are Philips’ published figures as recorded on those guides; the configuration of a specific unit is confirmed from its system data before we quote. Written by the Medical Outfitters sales and field engineering team.
A Philips MRI machine costs $475,000 to $975,000 refurbished at 1.5T and $1,100,000 to $1,900,000 refurbished at 3T, sourced refurbished on request and delivered, installed and warrantied. Refurbished, that is an Achieva at the bottom of the 1.5T band, an Ingenia 1.5T across the middle and top of it, an Ingenia 3.0T with Omega HP gradients in the middle of the 3T band and an Elition-class Ingenia 3.0T at the top. Medical Outfitters is not a Philips dealer: it does not sell Philips systems new and does not source them new, and every Philips MRI it supplies is pre-owned, found for the field strength, the software release and the coil list a buyer names and quoted to the same delivered, installed and warrantied standard as the GE and Siemens systems it rebuilds through MO Select. The new figures on this page are estimates printed for comparison. These are the Philips rows of our MRI machine cost guide and the Philips Ingenia model guide, gathered on one page.
Philips introduced the fully digital MRI with the Ingenia: the analog-to-digital converter sits inside each dStream coil, so the signal travels to the reconstructor as a digital stream, and the 70 cm Ingenia 1.5T and 3.0T are common on the used market now that Philips has moved the line on to the Evolution, the helium-sealed Ambition and the Elition generations. The Achieva is the previous analog generation and prices lower. That is why a Philips MRI price is mostly a question of generation, software release and coil list, and why a Philips quote from Medical Outfitters names the unit rather than drawing on stock. This guide covers what a Philips MRI machine costs by field strength, by model, by generation and year, and by configuration, what a sourced-on-request quote includes, what a new Philips costs, how Philips compares with GE and Siemens, what the magnets mean for siting and running cost, and which Philips MRI to buy.

How Much Does a Philips MRI Machine Cost?
A Philips MRI machine price is set by field strength first and generation second, because every Philips system on the used market is a superconducting magnet from one of two generations, the analog Achieva and the digital Ingenia, and the software release and the coil list move a quote more than the badge does. The figures are Medical Outfitters ranges for a system delivered, installed and warrantied; a refurbished Philips saves 40 to 60 percent against the new system on the same platform.
| Philips MRI | Medical Outfitters range, all-in | Platforms | How Medical Outfitters supplies it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Philips 1.5T, refurbished | $475,000 to $975,000 | Achieva 1.5T; Ingenia 1.5T and Ingenia 1.5T Evolution | Sourced refurbished on request, delivered, installed and warrantied; Medical Outfitters is not a Philips dealer |
| Philips 3T, refurbished | $1,100,000 to $1,900,000 | Ingenia 3.0T (Omega HP and Elition class) | Sourced refurbished on request, delivered, installed and warrantied |
| Philips 1.5T, new | $1,200,000 to $2,000,000, an estimate for comparison | Ingenia Ambition, Ingenia Evolution, Prodiva | Not sold or sourced new by Medical Outfitters; an estimate for comparison only |
| Philips 3T, new | $2,100,000 to $3,700,000, an estimate for comparison | Ingenia Elition | Not sold or sourced new by Medical Outfitters; an estimate for comparison only |
Philips MRI machine cost in 2026, Medical Outfitters all-in ranges, the Philips rows of the MRI machine cost guide’s price list gathered by field strength; the new rows are estimates of current list pricing printed for comparison, not a Medical Outfitters offer.
The same question arrives as Philips MRI machine price, Philips MRI price, Philips MRI cost, Philips MRI machine cost, Philips MRI scanner price and Philips Ingenia price, and the table answers all of them. Searches for a Philips MRI for sale or a used Philips MRI land on the refurbished rows, which is the only way Medical Outfitters supplies Philips; a Philips magnet is found to order for the configuration you name, and our current GE and Siemens units are on the used MRI machines for sale page and in the MRI machines category. A Philips figure quoted without delivery, installation and a warranty is an equipment-only price, and a figure quoted without the software release and the coil list is not a usable number at all.
Equipment-only prices vs the all-in Philips MRI price
Most Philips MRI prices published online are equipment-only figures for a magnet on a loading dock, which is why they read lower than a delivered, installed and warrantied system. The comparison below, from our MRI guide, puts the two side by side for the two classes Philips sells into; column A is a comparison estimate, not a Medical Outfitters price.
| Class | A. Typical published equipment-only range (comparison estimate) | B. Medical Outfitters all-in band | C. What the difference buys |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.5T | $150,000 to $450,000 | $475,000 to $975,000 refurbished (the Philips systems span the band); $1,025,000 to $2,000,000 new | De-installation and freight, rigging, installation and ramp-up, coil testing, applications training and a written warranty; the helium fill, the RF shielded enclosure, chiller, structural and electrical work quoted per project |
| 3T | $400,000 to $900,000 | $1,000,000 to $1,900,000 refurbished (the Ingenia 3.0T $1,100,000 to $1,900,000); $2,100,000 to $3,700,000 new | As 1.5T, plus quench vent and magnet-room coordination; a larger cryogen volume, quoted per project |
Averages hide the generation split. Across the Philips systems we quote, a refurbished 1.5T averages in the upper half of the band delivered and installed, because the Ingenia outnumbers the Achieva on the used market and prices above it, and a refurbished 3T averages in the middle of its band because the Omega HP Ingenia 3.0T with the standard coil set is the configuration most sites buy. An average Philips MRI price quoted without the platform and the release is not a usable number.
Philips MRI Machine Price by Model (2026): Achieva, Ingenia 1.5T and Ingenia 3.0T
The Philips MRI machine price list below places the three Philips platforms we source inside the bands above. Each is sourced refurbished on request, tested against the Philips specification, delivered and installed by our own crews and covered by a written warranty, the same standard as an MO Select system. Each row’s new figure is an estimated list price for Philips’ current platform in that class, printed for comparison only. The Achieva and Ingenia also travel in mobile coaches; what a mobile unit costs to rent or buy is in our mobile MRI rental, lease and purchase guide.
| Model | Platform | Refurbished, all-in | New | More |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Philips Achieva 1.5T | 1.5T, 60 cm bore, analog coil chain (2004); the previous Philips generation, discontinued | $475,000 to $600,000, sourced refurbished on request | Platform discontinued; the Philips Ambition class is estimated at $1,200,000 to $2,000,000, comparison only | Ingenia price guide (Achieva notes inside), Used MRI machines for sale |
| Philips Ingenia 1.5T | 1.5T, 70 cm wide bore, dStream digital coils, HeliumSave zero boil-off magnet (2010); the Evolution SmartPath upgrade; supported | $600,000 to $975,000, sourced refurbished on request (base coil set $600,000 to $775,000; Evolution release $725,000 to $975,000) | Not sold new; the Philips Ambition class is estimated at $1,200,000 to $2,000,000, comparison only | Ingenia price guide, Used MRI machines for sale |
| Philips Ingenia 3.0T | 3T, 70 cm wide bore, dStream digital coils, Omega HP gradients 45 mT/m at 200 T/m/s, Xtend 55 cm field of view (2011); Elition is the current generation | $1,100,000 to $1,900,000, sourced refurbished on request (Omega HP $1,100,000 to $1,600,000; Elition class $1,400,000 to $1,900,000) | Not sold new; the Philips Elition class is estimated at $2,100,000 to $3,700,000, comparison only | Ingenia price guide, 3T MRI price guide |
Philips MRI machine price by model, Medical Outfitters ranges delivered, installed and warrantied; the sub-ranges follow the configurations on the Ingenia model guide.
Three notes on the rows. A Philips Achieva price is the lowest entry to a Philips MRI, because the Achieva is the previous analog generation with a 60 cm bore and a discontinued platform, so a Philips Achieva MRI price sits with the older 60 cm GE and Siemens systems and the software release decides whether a given unit is a good buy. A Philips Ingenia 1.5T price depends on the release first and the coil list second: a system on an earlier R5 release with the base coil set sits at the bottom of its range, and an Ingenia 1.5T Evolution, the SmartPath upgrade to later software and hardware with an expanded coil set, at the top; it is the Philips system most buyers mean by a Philips Ingenia MRI price. A Philips 3T MRI price is an Ingenia 3.0T price: Omega HP gradients and the standard coil set in the middle of the 3T band, and an Elition-class unit with the advanced packages and high-density coils at the top, where the Philips Ingenia 3T price meets the GE and Siemens wide-bore 3T systems.
Philips MRI Price by Generation and Year
Philips’ closed-bore MRI history divides into three generations on the used market, and the price follows them.
| Generation | Platforms | Medical Outfitters range, all-in | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Achieva generation, 2004 to about 2010 | Achieva 1.5T (60 cm, analog coil chain); the Intera before it is serviced, not priced | $475,000 to $600,000, sourced refurbished on request | Discontinued; the value entry to a Philips 1.5T, priced with the older 60 cm GE and Siemens systems |
| Ingenia generation, 2010 and 2011 | Ingenia 1.5T (2010) and Ingenia 3.0T (2011): 70 cm bore, dStream digital coils, HeliumSave zero boil-off magnet; the Evolution SmartPath upgrade to later software and hardware | $600,000 to $975,000 and $1,100,000 to $1,900,000, sourced refurbished on request | Supported; the Philips platforms most buyers want, common on the used market now that Philips has moved the line on |
| Current platforms | Ingenia Ambition (1.5T, sealed BlueSeal magnet), Ingenia Elition (3.0T), Ingenia Prodiva (1.5T) | Pre-owned units quoted per unit; few have reached the refurbished market | Not sold new by Medical Outfitters; new bands printed above for comparison |
Used Philips MRI price by year of manufacture
Year of manufacture is the quickest way to place a used Philips MRI inside its band before the configuration is known. The figures below are the Ingenia model guide’s configuration sub-ranges for the Philips platform of each period, with the 1.5T and 3T class cells of the used MRI table on our MRI guide noted beside them; refurbished, delivered, installed and warrantied.
| Year of manufacture | Philips platforms | 1.5T, refurbished | 3T, refurbished |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2003 to 2007 | Achieva 1.5T | $475,000 to $600,000 | No Philips 3T platform is priced for this period |
| 2008 to 2012 | Ingenia 1.5T (base coil set); early Ingenia 3.0T (Omega HP) | $600,000 to $775,000 (the base configuration inside its band; the class row runs $550,000 to $800,000) | $1,100,000 to $1,600,000 (the Omega HP configuration inside its band; the class row runs $1,000,000 to $1,450,000) |
| 2013 to 2017 | Ingenia 1.5T Evolution; later Ingenia 3.0T | $725,000 to $975,000 (the Evolution configuration; the class row runs $700,000 to $975,000) | $1,400,000 to $1,900,000 (the Elition-class configuration; the class row runs $1,300,000 to $1,900,000) |
| 2018 and newer | Ingenia Ambition; Ingenia Elition; few refurbished units circulate | $850,000 to $975,000, quoted per unit | $1,600,000 to $1,900,000, quoted per unit |
Two cautions carry across every year. On the Ingenia the magnet is a HeliumSave zero boil-off design, so the cold head hours on the day of survey decide more than the model year; on the Achieva the questions are the support horizon of the software release and the analog coil chain, which is why it prices at the bottom of the band whatever its hours. And on every Philips system the release matters twice over: Philips R5 releases circulate at several levels, the release governs which sequences and which coils the system can run, and the SmartPath Evolution upgrade is what separates an Ingenia at the bottom of its band from one at the top. How long an MRI machine lasts covers the support horizons and the used MRI machine buying guide sets out what to check on any used magnet before the price is agreed.
Philips MRI Price by Configuration: dStream Coils, Software Release and Magnet
A Philips quote is described by three things, and the table below is how the used market labels them: the field strength, the software release and the coil list; the digital platform is the same across the Ingenia family. The ranges are the configuration rows of the Ingenia model guide, with the Achieva from the MRI guide.
| Configuration | Medical Outfitters range, all-in | What it buys |
|---|---|---|
| Achieva 1.5T, analog coil chain, 60 cm bore | $475,000 to $600,000 | The previous Philips generation, discontinued; priced with the older 60 cm GE and Siemens systems; the software release and the coil list decide whether a unit is a good buy |
| Ingenia 1.5T, dStream, base coil set | $600,000 to $775,000 | Earlier R5 release, single-region coils |
| Ingenia 1.5T Evolution or later release, expanded coils | $725,000 to $975,000 | Current sequences through the SmartPath upgrade, full coil set, documented service |
| Ingenia 3.0T, Omega HP gradients | $1,100,000 to $1,600,000 | Standard coil set, earlier release |
| Ingenia 3.0T with advanced packages, later release, Elition class | $1,400,000 to $1,900,000 | Neuro and body packages, high-density coils |
Philips MRI price by configuration; every row is sourced refurbished on request, delivered, installed and warrantied.
- dStream coils. On the Ingenia the analog-to-digital converter sits inside each coil and the signal travels to the reconstructor as a digital stream, which raises signal-to-noise and removes analog cabling from the bore; it also means each coil carries its own electronics, so a missing or faulty coil is a larger line on a Philips quote than on an analog system. Price the coil list by name, not the console, and test every coil.
- Software release and SmartPath Evolution. Philips R5 releases circulate at several levels, and the release governs sequences and coil compatibility; the Ingenia Evolution is the SmartPath upgrade of an existing 1.5T or 3.0T to later software and hardware, and it takes a unit to the top of its band. Philips lists the original Ingenia 1.5T as no longer available new, with SmartPath to the Evolution as the route forward, so confirm the release and the upgrade status in writing.
- Licensed applications. The advanced neuro, body and cardiac packages are licensed per unit and do not always transfer with a used system; confirm which licenses move with the unit before the price is agreed.
- Magnet and cold head. The Ingenia 1.5T magnet is a 3,060 kg HeliumSave zero boil-off design, so the cold head is the service item and its hours on the day of survey move a quote up or down; the 3.0T adds the Omega HP gradient package at 45 mT/m and 200 T/m/s and the Xtend magnet with a 55 cm field of view. On an Achieva ask for the helium log, not a single reading.
- Support status. The Ingenia 1.5T and 3.0T are supported platforms with a large installed base; the Achieva is discontinued and prices at the bottom of its band, and Philips is well supported in the large metros and thinner elsewhere, which is why the service route is part of the quote.
Sourced Refurbished on Request: What a Philips MRI Quote Includes
MO Select is the Medical Outfitters line of certified pre-owned imaging systems, and GE and Siemens are the two makes we rebuild through it. Philips systems are supplied a different way: sourced refurbished on request, which means we find a specific Achieva or Ingenia for the field strength, the release and the coil list a buyer names, test it, and quote it to the same delivered, installed and warrantied standard. Medical Outfitters is not a Philips dealer; we install and service Philips equipment, and we have installed and de-installed Philips 1.5T and 3T systems for clients.
- The system, tested to specification: the magnet surveyed, the cold head hours and the helium level documented, the gradients and the RF chain tested, every dStream coil tested one by one, the software release, the SmartPath Evolution status and the licensed packages confirmed on the unit.
- Delivery, rigging and installation by our own crews across the United States, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, with site planning against the Philips drawing for the specific system; how an MRI is moved lays out the sequence from site survey to ramp-up.
- Applications training and a written warranty, with the coils inside it, and a service plan offered in the same quote through our MRI engineers, backed by more than 20,000 parts in stock in Miami.
- Found to order. A Philips configuration is sourced against the model, the release and the coil list you name; the quote states the year of manufacture, the release and the delivery date of the specific unit, and a GE or Siemens alternative from stock is quoted beside it when one does the same work for less.
The refurbished imaging equipment page explains what a Medical Outfitters refurbished system includes, and refurbished versus OEM certified explains how a dealer rebuild differs from a manufacturer-refurbished unit; our current units are on the used MRI machines for sale page. If you are replacing rather than adding, we also buy used imaging equipment.
New Philips MRI Price: Ingenia Ambition, Elition and Prodiva
Medical Outfitters is not a Philips dealer: it does not sell Philips MRI systems new and does not source them new; our new-equipment range is Fujifilm and Esaote, and every Philips system we supply is pre-owned, sourced refurbished on request. The new bands on this page are estimates of current list pricing, printed for comparison only: $1,200,000 to $2,000,000 for the current Philips 1.5T platforms and $2,100,000 to $3,700,000 for the current 3T, the new cells of our MRI guide’s Philips rows.
- Ingenia Ambition (1.5T). The 1.5T built on Philips’ sealed BlueSeal magnet, which holds a fraction of the helium of a conventional magnet; sold new, and few have reached the refurbished market, so pre-owned units are quoted per unit.
- Ingenia Elition (3.0T). The current premium 3.0T generation; few refurbished units yet, quoted per unit, and most 3T buyers choose a refurbished Ingenia 3.0T instead.
- Ingenia Evolution and Prodiva. The Evolution is the SmartPath upgrade of an existing Ingenia to later software and hardware, priced on this page as a configuration; the Prodiva was a lower-cost 1.5T on the same dStream platform, quoted per unit.
- The alternative sold new: the Fujifilm ECHELON Smart 1.5T, ECHELON Smart with SynergyDrive and ECHELON Smart ZeroHelium, which Medical Outfitters sells new as an authorized dealer at $1,025,000 to $2,000,000; they are priced on the MRI guide’s price list. Medical Outfitters does not sell or source 3T systems new; the 3T buyer’s route is a refurbished Ingenia 3.0T, Skyra or MR750w.

Philips vs GE and Siemens MRI Price
Brand moves an MRI quote less than field strength does: a refurbished 1.5T Philips and a refurbished 1.5T GE sit in the same $475,000 to $975,000 band, and a refurbished 3T from either sits in the 3T band. What separates two quotes is magnet age and helium behaviour, the coil set, the software licenses and the support horizon. The table places each Philips platform against its GE and Siemens equivalent, refurbished, from the model guides.
| Class | Philips | GE HealthCare | Siemens |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.5T, 60 cm | Philips Achieva: $475,000 to $600,000 (sourced) | GE Signa HDxt: $475,000 to $675,000 (MO Select) | Siemens Avanto: $475,000 to $650,000 (sourced) |
| 1.5T, 70 cm wide bore, earlier platform | Philips Ingenia 1.5T: $600,000 to $975,000 (sourced) | GE Optima MR450w: $600,000 to $900,000 (MO Select) | Siemens Espree: $475,000 to $700,000 (MO Select) |
| 1.5T, 70 cm wide bore, current refurbished platform | Philips Ingenia 1.5T Evolution: $725,000 to $975,000, the top of its band (sourced) | GE Optima MR450w GEM: $700,000 to $900,000, the top of its band (MO Select) | Siemens Aera: $650,000 to $975,000 (MO Select) |
| 3T, 70 cm wide bore | Philips Ingenia 3.0T: $1,100,000 to $1,900,000 (sourced) | GE Discovery MR750w: $1,100,000 to $1,750,000 (MO Select); Signa HDxt 3T (60 cm) $1,000,000 to $1,300,000 (MO Select) | Siemens Skyra: $1,000,000 to $1,600,000 (MO Select); Verio $1,000,000 to $1,300,000 (sourced) |
Three things are specific to Philips in that comparison. Philips systems are sourced to order rather than rebuilt through MO Select, which is why a Philips quote names the unit, its release and its coil list, where a GE or Siemens quote draws on systems we already hold. The Ingenia is distinguished by its dStream digital coils and advanced applications, where the GE wide-bore platforms are distinguished by the GEM coil suite and Siemens’ Tim 4G platforms by channel count; digital coils raise signal-to-noise and are pricier to replace, so the coil list weighs more on a Philips quote. And Philips is well supported in the large metros and thinner elsewhere, so the service route is confirmed before the price is agreed, where GE and Siemens have the largest installed bases in our markets. On image quality at the same field strength and bore size the top systems from all three makers compare well, which is the one rule our MRI manufacturers comparison carries through every class; the GE platforms are priced together on our GE MRI machine price guide and the Siemens platforms on our Siemens MRI machine price guide.
Siting and Running Cost on a Philips MRI
Every Philips system on this page is a superconducting magnet, so the room is the same project as for any closed-bore MRI: an RF-shielded enclosure sized for the system, magnetic shielding where the 5-gauss line would cross a corridor or the floor above, a quench vent, a chiller, a floor that takes the magnet and a route in for it. We do not publish a standard room size, because the honest answer comes from the Philips site planning drawing for the specific system; the Ingenia 1.5T is a 3,060 kg magnet with a 95 cm tunnel diameter at both ends of its 70 cm bore, and a 3.0T Ingenia stores about four times the energy of the 1.5T, so its fringe field, shielding and rigging are the heavier project. Our MRI room shielding and size requirements post covers RF shielding, magnetic shielding, structural loading, the quench vent and the 5-gauss line for every class.

Running cost follows the magnet. A service contract priced per year as a percentage of system value, the cold head on a replacement interval, the chiller, and the coil set, which is the component most worth covering and, on a dStream platform, the most expensive to replace, are the list; on an Ingenia helium is rarely a line item, which is one of the reasons the platform holds its value, and on an Achieva the helium log is part of the quote. The clause that decides whether a contract is complete is coil coverage, and the second is whether the cold head is inside it. Our MRI service, repair and maintenance page explains how a contract is priced and what a preventive maintenance visit covers, and what an MRI helium refill costs covers the cryogen side for the older magnets.
Which Philips MRI Should You Buy?
Five questions settle which Philips MRI to buy.
- Which field strength? An Ingenia 1.5T for a general outpatient or hospital schedule, which is where most Philips buyers land; an Ingenia 3.0T when the referrals are neuro, musculoskeletal, prostate or research, the Xtend 55 cm field of view matters for large patients and the room can take the magnet. 1.5T vs 3T MRI covers the clinical case, and the 3T MRI machine price guide prices the Ingenia 3.0T against the other 3T platforms.
- Which generation? The Ingenia when the support horizon, the digital coils and the 70 cm bore matter, which is most buyers; the Achieva only when budget leads, a 60 cm bore is acceptable and the release is supportable.
- Which configuration? Price the release, the SmartPath Evolution status and the coil list, not the console: an Ingenia 1.5T Evolution with an expanded coil set and an Ingenia on an earlier release with the base set are a tier apart, and an Elition-class 3.0T is a different purchase from an Omega HP system with the standard coils.
- What does the survey say? On any used Philips: the cold head hours and the helium log, an air-and-phantom test on every dStream coil, the R5 release and which licenses transfer, the service history and the service route where the site is. The used imaging equipment inspection checklist covers the rest.
- Wide bore or open? A 70 cm Ingenia offers most of the comfort of an open design with full high-field image quality; a claustrophobic, pediatric or bariatric caseload that needs true open access is served by the open class, which has its own page in our open MRI machine cost guide, and wide-bore vs open vs closed MRI compares the three designs.
Tell us what you scan and the room you have, and we will find two or three Philips systems at the right tier with delivery, installation and a service plan in the quote, or tell you where a GE or Siemens system from stock does the same work for less. Current units are on the MRI machines for sale page and in the MRI machines category.

- What is the Philips Ingenia 3T price?
- A Philips Ingenia 3T price is $1,100,000 to $1,900,000 refurbished, sourced on request, delivered, installed and warrantied: $1,100,000 to $1,600,000 with Omega HP gradients and the standard coil set, and $1,400,000 to $1,900,000 for an Elition-class unit with the advanced neuro and body packages and high-density coils. The 3.0T adds signal for neuro, musculoskeletal and prostate work and the Xtend 55 cm field of view for large patients; the current Elition is estimated at $2,100,000 to $3,700,000 new, comparison only, and Medical Outfitters does not sell or source 3T systems new.
- How much does a Philips Achieva cost?
- A Philips Achieva price is $475,000 to $600,000 refurbished, sourced on request, delivered, installed and warrantied. The Achieva is Philips' previous generation with an analog coil chain and a 60 cm bore, discontinued, so it prices with the older 60 cm GE and Siemens systems at the bottom of the 1.5T band, and the support horizon of its software release decides whether a given unit is a good buy.
- How much does a new Philips MRI cost?
- Medical Outfitters is not a Philips dealer and does not sell Philips MRI systems new or source them new; every Philips MRI we supply is pre-owned, sourced refurbished on request. For comparison, the current Philips 1.5T platforms (Ingenia Ambition and Evolution) are estimated at $1,200,000 to $2,000,000 and the current 3T (Ingenia Elition) at $2,100,000 to $3,700,000, the new cells of our MRI machine cost guide's Philips rows. The 1.5T systems we sell new are the Fujifilm ECHELON Smart family, at $1,025,000 to $2,000,000.
- Does Medical Outfitters sell Philips MRI machines?
- Yes, refurbished: the Achieva, the Ingenia 1.5T and the Ingenia 3.0T, sourced refurbished on request for the field strength, release and coil list you name, each tested against the Philips specification, delivered, installed and warrantied across the United States, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. We are not a Philips dealer and do not sell or source Philips systems new. We install and service Philips equipment, and we have installed and de-installed Philips 1.5T and 3T systems for clients.
- Which Philips MRI is the cheapest?
- A refurbished Achieva 1.5T at $475,000, the bottom of the Philips 1.5T band, sourced on request, delivered, installed and warrantied. The cheapest Ingenia is a 1.5T on an earlier release with the base coil set at $600,000, and the cheapest Philips 3T an Ingenia 3.0T with Omega HP gradients and the standard coils at $1,100,000.
- Is a used Philips MRI a good buy?
- Usually, provided the coil list and the release are right: the Ingenia is a supported platform with a large installed base and a zero boil-off magnet, and the dStream coils are why it images as well as it does. The checks are the cold head hours and the helium log, an air-and-phantom test on every coil, the R5 release and the SmartPath Evolution status, which licenses transfer, the service history and the service route where the site is, because Philips is well supported in the large metros and thinner elsewhere; the Achieva is discontinued and prices accordingly.
- What is dStream on a Philips MRI?
- dStream is Philips' fully digital signal chain, introduced with the Ingenia: the analog-to-digital converter sits inside each coil and the signal travels to the reconstructor as a digital stream, which raises the signal-to-noise ratio and removes analog cabling from the bore. It also means each coil carries its own electronics, which is why the coil list matters on a used Ingenia and why a missing coil is a larger line on a Philips quote than on an analog system.
- Is the Philips Ingenia discontinued?
- Philips lists the original Ingenia 1.5T as no longer available new and points existing owners to the SmartPath to Ingenia 1.5T Evolution upgrade; the line continues as the Ingenia Evolution, the helium-sealed Ambition 1.5T and the Elition 3.0T, and the original systems are widely available refurbished, which is why the Ingenia is the Philips MRI most buyers price.
- Where can I find a Philips MRI for sale?
- A Philips MRI is sourced refurbished on request rather than listed from stock: tell us the field strength, the release and the coil list you need and we will find an Achieva, Ingenia 1.5T or Ingenia 3.0T, test it and quote it delivered, installed and warrantied. Our current GE and Siemens units are on the used MRI machines for sale page and in the MRI machines category, and a used Philips MRI in a particular configuration is found the same way.
Medical Outfitters sources the Philips Achieva, Ingenia 1.5T and Ingenia 3.0T refurbished on request, each delivered, installed and warrantied; we are not a Philips dealer and do not sell Philips systems new, and the Fujifilm ECHELON Smart family is the 1.5T we sell new as an authorized dealer.
